Cousins Realty, is a local and professional real estate investment company operated by two cousins, Freddie & Anthony. They specialize in buying, fixing, & selling distressed properties from various sources including but not limited to off-market referrals from friends & family, pre-foreclosures, bank owned (REO’s), estate sales, , and multiple listing service (MLS) sites.
They truly want to make the process as easy as possible for the seller and will buy any house in any condition. The seller will then pick the day the want to close and Freddie & Anthony will close the deal. We have been in the real estate industry for over 10+ years and have a successful record in renovating single & multi-family homes.

Freddie was born and raised in Northern New Jersey (Clifton), and currently still lives there with his wife and two sons. From the age of 10 until college, Freddie learned how to work with his hands while fixing cars at his father’s repair shop in Paterson. He graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in accounting and worked in the corporate accounting & finance world for roughly 10 years. While working in the corporate world Freddie was working on the nights and weekends as a licensed real estate agent and multi-family home investor/landlord. In 2017, he bought, fixed, and sold his first flip and loved working on every part of the deal.
In January 2018, while working as the Assistant Manager of Internal Audit, at a Realty Trust, Freddie’s boss broke the news to his team that their department would be outsourced in 6 months and everyone would be laid off. At the time Freddie was devastated, but then utilized this downturn as motivation to start a business based on his true passion, real estate. Ultimately, starting up Cousins’ Realty with his cousin and partner.
