Such a feel good story!🤩🤗.

On 2/23/20, while hosting a very busy open house for our most recent flip at 215 Park Ave, Emerson, a sweet older woman & her daughter came to walkthrough. My cousin/partner, Anthony & I greeted them & asked if we could give them a tour & they replied “no, we’ll be fine.” We said “ok” & continued talking to other possible buyers, thinking nothing of it. A couple times we looked over & they were both just gleaming, mesmerized, & gasping loudly as they saw the new kitchen, the area where the old kitchen was, the new shower in the master bath, & the expanded & finished basement. (I know we did good work, but it wasn’t the Sistine Chapel ceiling!🤣)

While lending a hand to one of them as they used the steps to see the basement, she looked at us & said “I have a confession, I was the previous owner & used to live here”. With tears in her eyes, she said to Anthony & I, “I can’t believe what an amazing job you did to our home!”. We never met them during the buying process, but they had to sell the home as they were unable to keep up with the repairs & maintenance.

It was truly an amazing & emotional feeling to watch them genuinely appreciate the modern & quality renovations we made to their long-time family home. It was an honor to have met them & listen to their past stories of their home. As promised, we bought the house from them with cash & “as is” like we agreed on. We were very straight forward & made sure to deliver on our deal. We ALWAYS make sure the seller is completely comfortable when they sell to us!
